Hello and welcome to MAD.
We offer courses and classes in acting and writing for adults at our studios in Hope Street, Liverpool City Centre. Our courses are for adults of all ages. From beginners through to advanced, we have something for everyone. Whether its your first time acting or you are an experienced performer, we have a course for you.
Our belief is that the skills of the actor can be transferrable to all walks of life. Our students develop and increase in confidence throughout our courses, learning skills and techniques which can help to enhance careers as well as personal development.
Whether you want to pursue an acting career, increase your confidence or just meet people and have fun – MAD has something to offer!
Our Core Acting Pathway
Our Core Acting Pathway is made up of four courses, Acting for Beginners, Script Analysis, Finding the Truth and Advanced Acting / Theatre Company. If after taking Beginners, you decide you would like to develop your acting skills and technique further, you can follow this core pathway.
Other Acting Courses
Alongside our Core Acting Pathway, we also offer a range of other acting courses. These courses can be taken alongside or after completing our Core Acting Pathway. You should have taken Beginners or have some previous experience before taking one of these courses.
Our Core Writing Pathway
Our Core Writing Pathway is made up of five courses, Writing for Performance (Beginners), Writing Screen, Writing Radio, Writing Theatre, Writing Comedy. You start with the Writing for Performance course and then can take any of the other courses in any order.
